British Council Lebanon, the MYM Agenda and Agenda Culturel are happy to invite you to register for In Between Lebanon and the UK a cultural speed-dating event taking place on Saturday, November 19, 2022 from 10:00 AM until 12:30 PM at Beirut Digital District, 1280, GF.

During this event you will get up to five 10-minute meetings with cultural practitioners of your choosing.

The professionals have different backgrounds; visual arts, performing arts, music, cinema, and more. And they represent cultural entities working in Lebanon or in the UK. Your date is all about asking questions about the work and the possibilities of the entity, introduce yourself and your practice, show a portfolio, and understand if there are possibilities of interaction, collaboration or engagement in specific programmes.
 

We encourage you to sit with those who work in different fields than yours to discuss interdisciplinary opportunities and outcomes.

The cultural speed-dating will be followed directly by a brunch to unveil a collaborative mural between Scottish artist Lauren Morsley and Lebanese artist Samer Bou Saleh and the digital installation NINE EARTHS by D-Fuse in collaboration with Maya Chami. It will be an occasion to continue the conversation you started during your dates and meet other participants.
