How are you living your lockdown? 

I still have one or two saved recipes up until today but luckily my time is already filled with work and workout mid-week. During the weekend, I spend most of my time listening to music, chatting with some friends and watching a couple of movies or documentaries but Netflix is still not my cup of tea!

From your active life, what do you miss the most?

I miss my gym courses, seeing my friends faces over dinners, dancing to loud music, packing for a new destination, having a nice dessert in one of Beirut’s cozy coffee shops and tight tight hugs.

What don't you miss?  

I don’t miss Lebanon’s topsy-turvy daily life, I don’t miss Netflix being optional lazy days, and I don’t miss having a reason to wear jeans.

How do you think life will be after Corona?

This pandemic is far from war but it requires pulling together and applying lots of changes to our lives and relationships be it with ourselves or with the planet. While it will definitely bring people closer together it will also impose a digitalization revolution of all services. Humans will have to rethink all the times they mistreated the environment and we will adopt more sustainable approaches and rethink our purchases.

A word of encouragement to our readers

Remember, we’re still alive. So imagine all the things you will get to feel, how that first hug after quarantine will hit differently, how you will soak your feet in the sea water and feel the warming sun, meanwhile notice what you still have instead of what you don’t.
