Under the Patronage of His Excellency Alaa Moussa Ambassador of Egypt to Lebanon, Maya Art Space, in collaboration with Villa Azad Art Gallery, is delighted to announce the upcoming opening solo exhibition of artist Esraa Zeidan “ يا هوا بيروت “!

In "يا هوا بيروت", Esraa Zidan paints a joyful tribute to Beirut, summer, and the liberated body. Her vibrant acrylics show full-figured women floating freely, turning shame into grace. With bold lines and soft tension, she reclaims space for beauty, movement, and unapologetic presence.

Esraa Zidan (b. 1990, Egypt) is a Cairo-based artist known for her vibrant depictions of women in motion, celebrating joy, movement, and body positivity. Her work challenges beauty norms by reclaiming volume and gesture as sources of power.

Holding a PhD and a Master's in Human Anatomy for Artists, she also teaches at Helwan University and leads workshops in art marketing. Since her 2018 solo debut at Azad Gallery, Zidan has exhibited widely, including recent shows in the UAE and at Khawla Art Gallery in 2023.
