Its path is unpredictable, with a thousand forks in the road. To take it is to let go of the burden of what we think we are and to lose ourselves. It's a path from which we don't come out intact, because something deep acts extensively, transforming us. Such is creation that every gesture builds us, every stumble forges us and shapes us under the flame of a mysterious desire. The more we restrain our will, the more we stimulate its flame: in this way, unexpected shapes and colours can come out, in a luminous or dark clarity. To paint is to learn to allow that ‘je ne sais quoi’ to emerge, something that no one would have imagined before its appearance, to what extent it makes sense.

Oro Lucem - praying to the light, is a visual and sound installation of about thirthy works created for the Centre d’Art La Falaise. Oro Lucem is the last part of a triptych after Oro Tenebris and Oro Terram exhibited in 2024. Praying to the darkness, then praying to the earth to finally praying to the light in search of an inner space into a dormant spirituality.” Zad Moultaka
