This exhibition is the result of countless journeys across Brazil featuring 30 carefully selected photographs.The show highlights Brazil’s vibrant cultural expressions, architectural beauty, and rich ethnic diversity. From lush rainforests to golden coastlines, from the dry backlands to the vast southern pampas, the images offer a visual narrative of a country filled with rhythm, color, and history.

Jacques B. Menassa was born in Ghosta, Lebanon in 1956. A graduate in Political and Administrative Sciences, his passion for photography began in childhood and led him to formal studies at the Université Saint-Esprit de Kaslik. Over the decades, he has developed a distinguished international career, particularly in Brazil, where he has lived, mostly in the Amazon and where he taught, and exhibited extensively.

Menassa’s lens is deeply human and culturally attuned. His body of work includes award-winning exhibitions, educational workshops, and more than three decades of photographic documentation of the Amazon region and beyond. Through his art, he seeks to build bridges between Lebanon and Brazil, celebrating the beauty, identity, and shared heritage of both nations.
