Part of the proceeds will be donated to Teach A Child. Magda Chaaban, born in Beirut,1967 , is an award-winning Lebanese-American artist and published author whose work includes paintings, sculptures and installations. The unique beauty of Beirut gave her brushstrokes a style of her own, inspiring visual and fascinating glimpses of Beirut life. "Disconnected", Chaaban’s 7th Solo Exhibition, is the story of resilience, rebellion and strength. While the paintings spotlight our persisting issues regarding connection, they also highlight how we react to our annoying reality, in a unique fashion, creating strength out of weakness. Through "Disconnected", Magda is showcasing, in an amusing, sarcastic way, our daily lot.
