Could be that this collection, created mostly between 2012 to 2016, resembles a personal diary accompanying the beginning of the Syrian revolution and war - daily drawings in a violent era.

During that period, I was drawing influenced by the automatic violence happening in the country and with a surreal mood. In order to maintain my mental balance, it was necessary for me to confront this violence with sarcasm. Even today, despite the changes that have occurred in my work, whether in drawing or sculpture, sarcasm remains the primary element of my artistic expression. It is true that it is a mockery, but a bitter one.
