In Vertikal by Mourad Merzouki the choreography is decidedly vertical. Between circus, dance and hip-hop, the choreographer creates a mysterious tale, sometimes dark, sometimes magic, in which women and men meet, embrace, take flight and skim the floor in order to free themselves from these strange elastic chains suspending and imprisoning them.
