This week’s OLT20 Chart Analysis:

As expected, and as every year on Christmas week, it's British pop duo Wham! which comes in straight to Number One with their massive worldwide Smash "Last Christmas" which this week, is by far the most played, and the most streamed song in Lebanon!

It has been the case for the last 19 years as "Last Christmas" (written and produced by George Michael) was originally released back in 1984! Each year and from the start of December the song begins to be played everywhere. It has been covered by many artists since its original release, most notably by Whigfield, Crazy Frog, Billie Piper, Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande.

Same story goes to American singer Mariah Carey as "All I Want For Christmas" has exactly the same path every year!

Lebanese singer Christine Abi Najm drops a notch on Christmas week to Number Two, and Hussein Al Deek makes his Chart debut with "Akher Hammi L Khayen" at Number Three!

It is also worth noting that Dutch-Moroccan singer Laroussi is about to launch one of the most anticipated new singles of the start of 2024. Exact release date is expected to be by Mid-January. Laroussi, who has recently attended the “Washwasha Awards Ceremony” in Cairo is also due to perform on NewYear’s Eve at the Sheraton Hotel in Dubai..

Finally note that biggest jump of the week comes from American rapper Jack Harlow with “Lovin On Me" which bullets up to Number 8 (from Number 12 last week).
