“Mediterranea” is a circulating exhibition that will be hosted by different Mediterranean countries, organized by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in collaboration with Med-Or Foundation.

It will kick off from NABU Museum in Heri Lebanon on Friday 23 June and last until 23 July before it heads to its next destination.

The exhibition recounts the history, the beauty, the peoples, and the myths of this “liquid continent”. It sheds light through satellite images, maps, photos, videos and stunning site-specific installations on the long and complex story of the Mediterranean, including the conflicts and dangers which jeopardize it nowadays.

This innovative and unique show is based on images acquired, only for the purposes of this project, by the Italian Space Agency, the European Space Agency and Telespazio/e-Geos.
