Artist Bio:
Raeda Taha is a Palestinian writer and theater actress who has dedicated the stage to preserving and documenting the Palestinian narrative, reviving the role of oral storytelling in the diaspora, and affirming the central presence of Palestinian women in transmitting it. In her work, theater functions as a political act—addressing the Palestinian cause with critical insight and a broad human vision. Born in Jerusalem, she was displaced as a child following the 1967 occupation, and like many Palestinians, carries within her the layered memories and emotions of a homeland under occupation.

Her poetry has been featured in journals and readings across the region, and she is currently exploring playwriting.

 Au Rituels des Pluies – عَلَى خُطَاك
A 30-minute performance-installation by Rana El Bala, developed within Kawalis Zoukak – The Mentorship Program (2024) and Amalagam Studio.

A sonic dwelling of 12 moments suspended in time and place, rooted in the artist’s personal archive (photographs by Al Baba’s late grandfather) documenting the 1955 Abu Ali River flood in Tripoli. By choreographing the flood, Al Baba narrates the story of the drowned city and its recurring relationship with its river.
