The Maqams and Rhythms trio will be performing different musical forms from the classical Arabic repertoire. The performance will be in four “waslat.” In the 19th century, the waṣla was the base supporting the performance of Arabic classical music and constituted part of a musical concert. In this concert it will include different Instrumental and vocal forms including samaii, muwashshahat, qodoud, and tawshih.
