LINA HUSSEINI, ME YOU, US

Who are we?
“Through my sculptures, I explore our parallel lives intimate, social, and spiritual. I question cultural blending, the weight of time, our strengths, and our fragilities.
In their smaller forms, the works express inner emotion fragile and personal. In their larger ones, they give these emotions a societal dimension.
Within them lie friendship and solitude, gentleness and resistance, spirituality and instinct. Each of us protects ourselves, opens up, or withdraws into silence.
Every sculpture reveals a part of us: our origins, our contradictions, our desires. I invite you to recognize a fragment of yourself within.”
