The OIB is cordially inviting you to the last event under outgoing director Birgit Schaebler, a conference on Labors of Love, Trials of Friendship: Challenges to the Modern Social Relation, in cooperation with CAMES, AUB, and Erfurt University. Please see the program attached.

The conference starts with a keynote from Hartmut Rosa, author of Resonance. A Sociology of Our Relationship to the World on the topic “Love and Friendship from the Perspective of Resonance Theory”, on 29th of September, IFI, AUB, 4th floor. It is hybrid and the link will be sent out soon.

September 30th takes place at the OIB, followed by a reception and a party with live music and an open mike to honor our outgoing director’s commitment and leadership over these past 5 years.

October 1st is taking place at IFI, AUB.
