Rawan Rahim (b.1986) is a Lebanese-Iraqi multidisciplinary artist living between London and Beirut, working primarily in painting. She earned a degree in Art History and French Literature from the University College London before pursuing fine art at the School of Visual Arts in New York City.

“I Remember”draws from Rawan Rahim’s archive of found photographs, spanning nearly a century. By reworking these images, Rahim explores memory as a fluid process—one shaped by reconstruction, emotion, and shared experience.

The series reflects on how personal histories resonate collectively, inviting viewers to consider the porous boundaries between the past and the present, the individual and the communal.
