“Heroes in the Shadow”

is a theatrical performance built upon nameless characters from Shakespeare’s great tragedies, figures who may appear marginal at first glance, yet have profoundly shaped the destiny of the heroes.
The performance seeks to deconstruct relationships of power and oppression from the perspective of the marginalized, who are often both victims and perpetrators at the same time.
In the context of repressive regimes and class-based societies, the theatre becomes a space for accountability, resistance, and for acknowledging those who resisted in silence.
This performance offers a political and social reading of our present reality, of heroes who forged their own narratives, yet remained in the shadows.
