Metropolis Cinema is proud to dedicate a film cycle to the singular and deeply resonant work of Joana Hadjithomas and Khalil Joreige, two artists whose cinema has shaped a unique language blending documentary, fiction, arts and archives.

Across four films, the cycle offers an opportunity to experience their work on the big screen a cinema anchored in Lebanon, reflecting on stories kept secrets, disappearance, exile, intimacy, imaginaries and resistance.

This cycle is echoing the exhibtion Remembering the light presented by Joana and Khalil In Sursock Museum till september 4.
