Join us for a half-day creative writing workshop on Saturday 10 May 2024 from 1.00PM to 5.00PM. The workshop is led by Nohad El-Hajj and an invitation for the public to actively engage with and reflect on the ongoing solo exhibition of Hussein Nassereddine “Years of the Shining Face”. 

Nassereddine’s show presents the artist’s profound exploration of time and memory. It delves into the fates of the years, both near and far, through the lens of language, song, and personal history. The workshop aims to open up a space for alternative connections and knowledge co-production with the exhibition. Through rounds of writing and sharing, participants will reflect collectively, slowly, and intimately on the theme of “Time” using the same lens as the artist. The process will yield individual writing reflections. 

The workshop is free of charge. It is open to 12 participants and will be held in Arabic, while the writings can be in any language.
