"The New Ruler of Thebes" is inspired by the Tragicomedy "The Bacchae", written by the Ancient Greek playwright Euripides. 

The storyline is taken from one of the ancient Greek Myths. It's the story of Dionysus trying to prove his divinity in the city of Thebes, after the king banned his rituals and refused to consider him as a god in the city.

Our adaptation emphasizes on the conflict between two coexisting worlds in opposition: The organized system, and the chaos. Hence, our style is a combination between method acting and physical theater, so you can find realistic acting coexisting with physical expression and dance expression.
