BINGO tells the true story of Augusto, an irreverent actor searching for his place in the spotlight. After a successful career in “softcore Porn” he finally gets the big break he has been waiting for. He becomes BINGO the clown - the host of a 1980’s Brazilian Children’s morning show. With his wacky humor and ambitious talent - he turns it into the most watched morning show in all of Brazil. There is a catch, however - he is forbidden contractually to reveal his identity. He becomes the man behind the clown mask.

Bingo was the Official Brazilian Entry as a Foreign Language Film at the 90th Academy Awards and was featured for the first time in Beirut in 2018 (a year after its release) in the context of the 9th edition of the Beirut Ibero-American Film Festival.
