Introducing Lebanon’s first Waterwoman Festival

The first Lebanese festival celebrating women in watersports will be held at Soult Beach, Kfarabida - Batroun on July 8, 2022, featuring some of the best Lebanese female watersport athletes and enthusiasts.

A community of female surfers, kite-surfers, wind-surfers, swimmers, stand-up-paddlers, foil riders and free-divers is coming together to inspire, initiate and encourage women and girls across the country to join the world of watersports.

The all-day festival aims to raise awareness about the diverse non-motorized watersports on offer in Lebanon and their positive impact on the environment, promote their wellbeing and health benefits, and encourage gender equality in and out of the water.

The festival will be held at Soult Beach Batroun on Friday July 8, 2022, under the patronage of Ministry of of youth and sports and with support of Ministry of Tourism and the National Commission for Lebanese Women, and will propose a number of activities including:

• Meeting Lebanese female watersports athletes
• Introduction to a variety of watersports disciplines
• Aquagym and Fit mat classes in the pool
• Pilates and Yoga lessons 
• Displays of local brands and products
• Healthy meals and drinks 
• All day music
• Watersports movie screening after sunset

Program startsat 10AM to 10PM, and both genders are welcome (15+) throughout the day to enjoy the activities they love.
