The event on April 19th is taking place at the Mediatheque - Cinematheque Beirut in Mar Mkhail at 6pm. It will start with the screening of "THE LAST SCREENING”, a 12-minute film directed by Eliane Raheb. This film delves into the closure of a cinema in Zahle and charts the evolution of cinema going from the filmmaker's childhood to the mid-90s.

Following the screening, Ifdal El Saket will present her book "Cinema in The Arab World: New Histories, New Approaches," which she co-edited. Her focus will be on the New Cinema History, and she will delve into her own chapter included in the book. Subsequently, a Q&A session will take place.
