Please join us for a panel discussion on traditions of embroidery and textile in the Levant inspired by Tarik Kiswanson's series Passing*, currently on view within his solo exhibition Nest.

Moderated by Mikey Muhanna, founder and executive director of Afikra, the panel discussion brings together artist Mounira Al Solh, whose practice is largely based on textile and embroidery; Rula Alami, board member of Inaash association that helps preserve and promote traditional Palestinian embroidery; and Huda Baroudi, co-founder alongside Maria Hibri of Bokja that revives regional textile practices through contemporary design.
