On The Official Lebanese Top 20 this week, we want to congratulate English singer-songwriters Ed Sheeran and Elton John for scoring the 1st Number 1 of the year 2022 on OLT20 with their version of “Merry Christmas”. "Merry Christmas" also reached Number 1 on the UK Singles Chart, becoming Sheeran's twelfth chart-topper in England, and John's ninth number-one single in the country. It also topped the charts in Ireland, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and many other countries..

The song is heavily played by most of the local and regional Radio Stations, TV Networks, and the Digital world combined. The public response has so far been great!..

On this 1st Chart of the year we have 5 New Entries. The highest one comes in straight to Number 4 by Canadian singer Justin Bieber with “Ghost” the sixth single from his sixth studio album, “Justice”, followed by Cuban-American singer Camila Cabello with “Don’t Go Yet” which is lifted from her upcoming third studio album “Familia” in at Number 6, and by Lebanese singer Joseph Attieh at Number 14 with “Bde2ellak”.

Also note that our Jump of the week (#17 to #7 = +10 places) comes from Lebanese singer Abeer Nehme with “El Milad Al Jayi” which Bullets up to Number 7 in Lebanon !
