This week’s OLT20 Chart Analysis

As we enter the mid-summer season we want to congratulate Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram for an amazing achievement as she becomes the first artist ever to score her 10th Lebanese Number One on OLT20 with her latest release “Men Nazra”!! The song, written & composed by Ziad Jamal has now over 8 Million views on YouTube and is the most added song on all the Digital Platforms regionally. It has now become one of her most successful summer hits of her career! We anticipate the song to stay on Top of the chart for at least another week or more!

From the 5 New Entries on this week’s OLT20 Chart 3 are from the “Next Generation” Lebanese Acts, namely Vincent J who’s in at Number 19 with “Ha Nwalle3a”, DJ Marc who’s in at Number 18 with his Remix version of “3arabiyyon Ana” featuring the man himself Yuri Mrakadi, and finally Jennyfer Mrad who scores her second straight singles with “Summer Paradise” the week’s highest New Entry at Number 16. She has managed to reach the Top 5 with her previous release “I won’t let you go” a few months ago!

Finally note that biggest jump of the week comes from Lebanese singer Mario Hadshiti with “Kermalo" which bullets up to Number 9 from Number 19 last week. Mario Hadshiti has recently carved a niche for himself in the music industry by seamlessly blending traditional Arabic music with contemporary elements. A fusion which is actually highlighted on “Kermalo” which is also heading towards the Top 5!

On OLT20 this week we have 11 Local or Regional artists, and 9 Occidental ones.
